SMSonline: first steps…
SMSonline is an efficient and easy to use messaging service that allows you to get in touch with your business partners, family or friends in a fast and reliable way. Using SMSonline is very easy: you register, recharge your balance, and you can start sending messages right away. But it’s not only about sending messages: you can also schedule to send them later, you can create groups with your contacts you SMS often… And you can have your recipients answer directly to your mobile phone!
In the following few steps you’ll learn how easy it is to send messages with SMSonline.
1. Registration
Registration is only necessary at the first time you use SMSonline. By registering you will have your username and your password, and your balance that you can use to send messages.
Click register at the left and fill in the form. Fill in all the fields marked with an asterisk!
NB Your email address is necessary for the password that we’ll send to you at the end of the registration. We need your phone number for security reason, and to be able to register your payments via premium SMSs. For further information about safeguarding your personal data please see our Terms and Conditions.
After the successful registration SMSonline will send to the email address you’ve specified the credentials necessary to sign in.
2. Charging your balance
After registering there’s a further step to be done to start sending messages. That is to recharge your balance, because the price of the messages you send will be deducted from your balance. With zero balance you cannot send any message. This way you can control your spending: you only spend the amount you recharge to your balance.
Charging your balance can be done via premium SMSs (premium SMSs coming from all three Hungarian mobile phone providers – T-Mobile Hungary, Pannon, Vodafone Hungary – are accepted), by bank transfer, by credit card or by PayPal. To recharge click the appropriate command on the left, but don’t forget to sign in first!
The recharged and available balance will appear on the left, in top, under your username.
Tip: if you want your recharge appear immediately in your balance, then use premium SMSs, credit card or PayPal!
3. Sending messages
To start sending messages just click SMS on the left, and then click New. Just fill in the text! Don’t forget to choose what you want to appear as sender, and to add the phone numbers you want to send the message to!
Tip: if you decide to show your own phone number as sender, then the people you send your message to can answer directly to your mobile phone – so you can stay in touch with them no matter where you are!
You can also decide whether to send the message immediately or at a later time. To send later, click schedule!
Tip: use the phonebook if you have many recipients! If you often send messages to a certain group of people (team members, friends, club members, family, etc.) then put your phone numbers into groups, and when sending you can just choose the group and you don’t have to browse through too many names to select the recipients!
